Modern, minimalist wedding at the Bradford, New Hill NC

As you exit off of Hwy 1 just North of Sanford there is nothing to suggest that a wedding venue straight out of the European countryside waits for you just minutes away.  From the time you drive up the driveway of the Bradford in New Hill it is like you are transplanted into another place.

The Bradford has several features which make it an ideal wedding venue in the Raleigh area.  My favorite thing about this wedding venue is that it manages to be understated and neutral without being boring.  The muted tones in the getting ready areas are serene and complement a wide variety of color schemes while the whitewashed brick of the exterior is the perfect backdrop to add texture without distracting from the couple or decor.

Kudos to the design team at the Bradford for knowing when to make a statement with the paver patio and when to show restraint like in the generously sized reception hall.

The reception hall has a wrap around porch and plenty of natural light to give the entire space a bright, airy feel.

Rebekah and Quint got married at the height of COVID, but despite having to un-invite almost 200 guests this wedding at the Bradford was full of connection and fun! The way that Rebekah and Amanda Blair incorporated modern shapes and metallic touches was the perfect counterpoint to the traditional elegance of the venue.

At the end of the day, the only thing that mattered was getting to celebrate their wedding with all of their favorite people - and Rebekah’s dog Coco.
