A mountain view just minutes outside downtown Raleigh

As a Raleigh wedding photographer I get to see so many amazing wedding venues and I have to say weddings at Highgrove Estate in Fuquay-Varina are among my favorites!

Highgrove Estate feels like it is situated in the foothills of the North Carolina mountains, but it is just minutes from Raleigh.  The venue is situated on 7 acres with the main house being built in the early 1900's.  The main house features a bridal suite with en-suite bathroom, a grooms suite across the hall, a special suite with an amazing mirror accent wall, a dining room, and a downstairs parlor.  All of the rooms in the house have ample natural light for great photography.  Outside you will find a covered patio with fireplace that is perfect for cocktail hour and flows into an outdoor bar area.  Past the cocktail area is the stunning ceremony space that they dub the Pergola.  A brick patio is crowned with three triangular arched pergolas and a stunning view of the hills beyond.

Off of the patio you will find the Grand Ballroom.  Another thing that makes Highgrove Estate unique is that they are a full-service wedding venue in Raleigh. Your rental includes your tables, chiavari chairs, linens, dinnerware, lantern centerpieces, your wedding cake and so much more.

Highgrove Estate was such an easy venue to work at and the photos were just stunning from Emily and Austin’s wedding!

Emily and Austin kept the color palette serene with a green and white color palette but spiced things up with thoughtful details like their custom beer labels for the cocktail hour and Emily’s sparkly Keds. The whole event was so relaxed and fun!
